You don't have to tell me, you would gladly exchange ten hours with a weed wacker and hedge trimmer instead of ten minutes in front of your computer.  It just feels phony to do model training with a PC.  Our dads didn’t have computers and we had great model trains without them. Stop acting like such a Luddite!  You've already tracked down lots of helpful information about model training on the internet.
